Another lost picture from about my recently unearthed photobucket account. I probably made this back in 2005. It’s only about two inches tall.

Old Crafts
I recently found a stash of old photos on photobucket.com and there’s a lot of my old crafts from about 10 years ago I completely forgot about. For example, I didn’t remember this woven purse I made from a loom that my best friend’s mom Chris gave to me until I stumbled across the old photo.
I don’t have the purse anymore, and I wonder where I lost it along the years.

Rainbonium Art Stickers
I’ve been busy making one of a kind art stickers. I’m going to be giving them out at an art show next show.
And of course they are black light reactive.
Crocheted Dreamcatcher
I made this little dreamcatchers with a petite crocheted doily as the center, shells from the American River, a shell from near Point Reyes and a fairy charm off a necklace that broke years ago.
It’s gone home to Ireland with my friend Michele who visited over Thanksgiving. I hope it gives her sweet dreams!

How to Wrap A Gift in Under Two Minutes
Gift giving season has arrived and working in retail I know that a lot of people express that they can’t wrap a gift to save their life. I wrap hundreds if not thousands of gifts every holiday season and it usually takes me about 45 seconds each. Wrapping a gift isn’t hard if you know the technique. So here you go. You’ll be beautifying those Black Friday purchases in no time!
I shot this video in portrait because my current tripod mount is not ideal. Woops!
Xena Warrior Princess
This Halloween I was Xena: Warrior Princess. I loved this show when I was a kid. Xena was my heroine and making this costume was a lot of fun! I was down to the wire finishing it before Halloween.
Believe it or not this was a no sew project! It’s held together with staples, black duct tape and hope.
I’m so proud of this costume and I feel like it came out great. I delayed sharing it hoping I’d get some shots of it outside in good light but it’s already past the middle of November and the weather is not agreeing. Who knew it could still rain in California?
How about you? What’s your best Halloween costume you’ve pulled off?
Faux Stained Glass Lanterns
You may remember the spiderweb lantern from October. I had more of those dollar bin lanterns laying around and I finally found my tracing paper so I threw this together.
Which do you like better?
Black Light Party part II: Mushrooms!

We made dozens of these neon mushrooms for my Rain Forest themed birthday party. Most were made from sculpey and a few were made from super sculpey. If you try this at home, go with regular sculpey. It’s cheaper than super sculpey and also white making it easier to paint with black light reactive acrylic paint.
Again, I’d like to thank Marissa for all her help! She did the majority of work in this project. Please go like her Facebook page here.
I did make this little mushroom though!
On a tangential note, did anyone else catch last night’s episode of South Park? There was some black light. I’ll add that Season 18 has been amazing so far.
